Eugene Yelchin: Hello. My name is Eugene Yelchin. Eugene Yelchin is my American name. It's really not my real name. I was born and spent the first years of my life in Russia before I came to the United States. My Russian name is Jenya Yenchin. Jenya is a first name, and it's short for a Russian name Yevgeny. Hence my American name became Eugene.
