Gabi Swiatkowska: Hello. My name is Gabby Swiatkowska. Swiatkowska is not my family's real name. At the end of the second world war, my grandfather was locked in the south, and forced to change it. He said, alright, I'll change my name if I can have the same name as the Minister of Culture, that would be the Polish Minister of Culture. And that's the name he got. Now, I don't have any particular attachment to the proper pronunciation of my last name. In fact, I find life a lot more fun with it being mispronounced. The most butchered it gets, the better. Just to give you an idea, one of my personal favorite of mispronounce is swat cow.
