Sue Bradford Edwards: Hello. My name is Sue Bradford Edwards. Sue is my middle name but it's the name I've always used. Using my middle name instead of my first name meant that the first day of school was always confusing. Each year when the teacher first took attendance, she'd call out my first name and every year I'd have to say, "Here. But I use my middle name, Sue." Every time we had a substitute, I'd have to explain it again. Now that I'm out of school, when someone calls me by name, I can tell if they really know me or not. The people who know me all call me Sue.
