Ever wonder how the indomitable Ms. Frizzle of Magic School Bus fame spends her summer vacations? Here we see her accompanying a group of unsuspecting adults and children who are traveling to Egypt. True to form, the Frizz takes over when Herb the tour guide gets separated from the group, and she manages to transport them all back to Ancient Egypt. This 91/4x 121/4” volume has a completely different cast of characters than we’re used to, but it employs many of the same devices: a blend of fact and fantasy using comic strip conventions.
