Nine familiar farm animals are introduced in the visually exciting format Ehlert used in COLOR ZOO (Lippincott, 1989). Creative combinations of basic shapes die-cut into layered pages delineate different animal heads with each page-turning. Shapes are labeled to reiterate the concept and a barnyard full of geometrically composed animals appears at the end of the book. (Ages 3-7)

On this farm you can view animal ears and whiskers too. Lots of animals to be found, shapes and colors all around. Look at beaks and snouts with me. Make some more for us to see.
